Florist at work

The Florist Academy provides online floral courses for beginners, sustainable floristry tips, a 'Grow-your-own Cut Flowers' membership, and a blog including tales from my 20+ year career as a florist in Derbyshire, UK.

I work from my home in Derbyshire, and in my job at a florists shop in our local town. I've been a florist for over 20 years, completing my training at nearby Broomfield Agricultural college in 2004, as well as being a qualified Life coach, and serial crafter!

The training courses are a work in progress and are building up gradually. Check back on the courses page regularly and keep an eye on social media to find out when they are released.

You can expect a comprehensive insight into whatever you are learning with worksheets and instructional videos included.
The Grow-your-own Cut Flowers Membership is up and running, with help and advice on all aspects of sowing, growing, harvesting and planning your own cut flower patch.
